“MOST”
a Polish mobility programme for students and doctoral students
MOST is a mobility programme for students and doctoral students. Since 1999 it has been widely popular and has enabled students to spend one semester or the entire academic year studying at one of twenty other Polish universities.
Participation in the programme is free of charge and does not depend on the mode of studies.
MOST offers the opportunity to:
- pursue the study programme at a university different than the home university;
- choose additional classes related to the interests of a doctoral student;
- establish contact with specialists in a given academic field different from the home university;
- use the reference literature of another university and gain access to research materials and sources outside home university;
- conduct research for a seminar, master or doctoral dissertation in the environment related to object of analysis;
- establish contact with the scientific community of another faculty, institute, department, or research team;
- demonstrate the ability to adapt to new conditions and make use of different opportunities, which may be important to a prospective employer.
Requirements:
The programme is dedicated to long-term students of the University of Warsaw who are at least:
- 3rd semester BA (undergraduate/1-cycle) students, or
- 2nd semester MA (post-graduate/2-cycle) students, or
- 3rd semester long-cycle students, or
- 2nd year PhD students at a Doctoral School.
